Our History

Generations ago

Upon the ridge overlooking Cayuga lake.

One of the first Riegel’s to settle in Seneca County was Jacob Riegel and his son Guy. They had a homestead, and horse boarding farm. The original house is across the road from where the produce farm is today.

Through the years

Growing Produce.

My Father and I started our first real successful year growing just for restaurants in the Seneca Falls area. The next year we started growing and selling at the farmers market in Geneva. In those years we specialized in tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.

Today’s farm has a wider breath, growing many greens, nightshades melons, corns, beans, and brassicas. We use regenerative agriculture practices and mimic organic practices.
